2006년 작업 결과에 따르면 마을 또는 그 일부는 기원전 1300년부터 800년, 즉 청동기 시대 말기에 강바닥에 박힌 말뚝 위에 세워진 것으로 확인되었습니다. 그런데 어느 순간 화재가 발생해 가옥이 무너지는 일이 발생했습니다. 집의 잔해는 점차적으로 미사로 덮였고 그 지역은 물에 잠겼습니다. 그 결과 오늘날까지 많은 유물이 완벽하게 보존되어 있으며, 그중에는 도자기와 보석의 세부 사항뿐만 아니라 나무 접시와 의복도 있습니다. 과학자들은 전설적인 로마 도시의 화산재 밑에 묻힌 유물과 유물의 안전성을 비교하면서 머스트팜(Must Farm) "영국 폼페이(British Pompeii)"라는 별명을 붙였습니다.
