Sino-French Science Park Church(The Shadowless Church)는 Shanghai Dachuan Architects가 2019년에 설계한 청두의 65m² 규모의 건축물로 미니멀한 접근 방식을 통해 전통 교회 건축을 재해석합니다. 알루미늄 사각 패스 시스템으로 제작된 이 디자인은 눈에 보이는 용접 부분을 제거하는 동시에 구조적 안정성과 내진성을 보장합니다. 내부의 매달린 돔은 주요 하중 지지 요소를 숨겨 개방적이고 가벼운 공간 구성을 만들어냅니다. 240mm x 240mm 구조 격자는 외관과 통합되어 응집력 있는 건축 시스템을 형성합니다.
일몰 시 반투명 외관은 자연광을 포착하고 확산시켜 디자인에서 조명의 역할을 강조합니다. 재료와 건축 기술의 선택은 효율성을 우선시하고, 비용과 환경에 미치는 영향을 줄이면서 동시에 고품질 디테일을 유지합니다. 구조, 재료, 빛의 통합은 현대 건축 방식과 교회의 상징적 본질에 모두 부합하는 세련된 건축 표현을 만들어냅니다.

Constructed with an aluminum square pass system, the design eliminates visible welds while ensuring structural stability and seismic resistance. A suspended dome within the interior conceals the primary load-bearing elements, creating an open and lightweight spatial composition. At sunset, the translucent façade captures and diffuses natural light, emphasizing the role of illumination in the design.
